For a quick, polished daytime look keep your eye shadow between the brow bone or the eye corners. Avoid heavy liner or thick color under the lower lashes. Neutral shades in brown, tan, or peach work best, especially since those are the shadow colors of choice for summer. Use blinc’s Eye Shadow Phase One to maintain your look all day. Electric hues really make your eyes pop, but so many are afraid to try this electrifying look. Don’t be!!! Maybe, you don’t want to go all the way with the color on your first try. Here’s a tip for a subtle start. Apply blinc Fountain of youthful Color Eye Shadow Phase One to your lower lash line. This will keep your shadow in place and give it a smooth, even appearance. Line your lower lashline with a hue such as turquoise for some sparkle. Guide the shadow across your bottom lashline, from outer corners in with a Q-tip or eyeliner brush for definition. Add two coats of blinc mascara in black on top lashes and on the bottom lashes.

Last week we encouraged you to play with color for summer. Glee star, Heather Morris, paired the winged eyes with colored liner. For Heather’s look, try blinc eyeliner in blue. Apply the liner along the lash line then flick it up and out at the corners for the winged look. The liner will stay on, until you take it off, so don’t worry about wearing this look to a beach party or in the rain. Use a soft pastel shadow to counter the bold liner. For longer stay power of your favorite eyeshadow, use blinc Eye Shadow Phase One as your base. Finish with two coats of blinc mascara.
